- Baptism into coaching was in the year 1992
- Qualified BCCI level 2 coach was certified in the year 2005 at the National Cricket Academy
- Was in charge of Karnataka State Senior Twenty -20 Team in Kolkata 2006-07
- Started coaching the State junior teams like under-19 , under-22 & under -25 with distinction from 2007 to 2010
- Currently in charge of the Karnataka state Under-19 team
- Worked one year with the Royal challengers IPL Team as the assistant coach with the developmental squad in the year 2010
- Appointed as the Lead coach with the Royal challengers –KSCA Cricket academy from the year 2011-13
ACHIEVEMENTS AS A COACH
- Guided the KARNATAKA “A“ team to the finals in the All-India Safi Darashah tournament in the year 2006-07
- Winners of the South zone under-19 One day championship in the year 2007
- Winners of the under-25 One day Tournament in 2010
- Winners of the All-India Safi Darashah tournament in the year 2011
- Contributed immensely in the development of state players like Manish Pandey, KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Karun Nair, Abhimanyu Mithun at the junior level. Most of them went on to play for INDIA and the rest performed exceedingly well in the IPL
- Was a Talent scout for the Royal challengers in the year 2010 Strengths……

- Coached players from the age group of 6 years to the international players of repute
- Creates an excellent atmosphere for players to show case their talent
- Currently is the Director of kanara blues cricket academy, Bangalore since 1999
- Coaching the kids from the age group of above 6 years to below 19 years
- Was hired as a personal coach to train current Karnataka prolific scorer Karun Nair to enhance his performance
- Currently coaching the senior boys personally to enhance their performance notably current Karnataka under-19 player sharath Srinivas along with host of other talented players who wants to make it BIG

- Captained Karnataka to victory against Sachin Tendulkar led Sun grace xi in Moin-ud-dowla Gold Cup
- Represented KARNATAKA against SOUTH AFRICA at KOCHI
